Narrow vein mine operation at the Vezza Mine Project included all development, Alimak, production and support services (including engineering and geology functions). Typical veins were one to four metres thick (average two metres), which necessitated semi-mechanized specialized mining methods using jacklegs, stopers, slushers and muckers.
