John has over 35 years of experience in Canadian mining. VP of Operations for KMC Mining Corporation, President of Westmoreland Coal Company, President of Conuma Resources Ltd, and was SVP/GM for their SNC Lavalin’s Edmonton Operations. Before being promoted to Chief Executive Office, John served as Procon’s Senior Vice President of Technical Services.
Christina is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 25 years of experience in business improvement and commercial projects for Fortune 500 companies in the mining and automotive sectors. She holds a master’s in Business Administration and has diverse experience with Canadian, U.S. and Asia-Pacific projects. Before joining Procon, Christina was Finance Manager at Anglo American plc.
Christian is a Mining Engineer with over 25 years of mining experience at several underground mining operations and projects in Canada, in roles ranging from Project Engineer to Vice‐President of Operations. His previous employers include Agnico Eagle, Hecla, Richmont, IAMGOLD and Machine Roger.
Leanne is a Human Resources professional with over 25 years of experience in the financial and heavy construction industries. Her expertise in change management and M&A integration spurs collaborative teams that drive employee engagement and sustainable growth. Previously, Leanne built the H.R. function for a privately held construction business.
Darren is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of progressive operations leadership experience in both domestic and international underground mining projects. His career encompasses a broad range of roles focused on operational delivery and execution, with extensive expertise in shaft sinking, high-speed mine development, underground construction, and asset evaluation. Most recently with Redpath Mining, Darren has managed complex underground mining projects and offers a practical, operations-driven perspective to project development execution.
Peter is a Professional Mining Engineer with over 35 years of experience in underground and open-pit mining operations. Before Procon, he managed the East Kootenay operations for Imasco Minerals, including open-pit quarries, underground room and pillar mine and process plant. Previously, Peter worked at Agrium’s Potash operations and Cominco’s Polaris, Red Dog and Sullivan mines.
Jesse is a Professional Engineer with over 18 years of experience spanning mining, tunnelling, business development, and partnership development with Indigenous communities. Before joining Procon’s corporate office, Jesse worked directly at remote Northern and Western Canadian mine sites in technical services and operations roles with Agnico Eagle, De Beers Canada, and Teck Resources. He brings a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to engaging with clients and the Indigenous partners and communities Procon works alongside.
Daniel has worked in mines throughout Quebec and Ontario for 24 years mainly as a raise and shaft sinking miner for different mining contractors. He then held various supervisory positions for Cambior, Agnico-Eagle and to finish after 9 years at Iamgold as Shaft Project Superintendent and Mining Superintendent.
Jonathan Miller is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional with over 25 years of experience in mining. He studied Mine Engineering Technology at Haileybury School of Mines, followed by Occupational Health and Safety at the University of New Brunswick. Since joining Procon in 2008, he has held various roles, including Mine Surveyor, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Site Manager, Safety Manager of Projects and currently serves as the Director of Health, Safety, and Environment.
As a Director of Industrial Minerals, Matt brings 18 years of proven expertise to the mining industry. He has a comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle management within mining operations, from initial development to successful execution. Matt is known for his strategic leadership and ability to navigate complex challenges, ensuring projects meet their objectives
Harold is responsible for overseeing project engineering and estimating work for Procon Canada East. Harold is a professional mining engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry. Harold served as Director of Engineering for 8 years at Promec Mining. Prior to joining Promec, Harold worked with Dumas as Director of Engineering in Quebec and 10 years for Agnico Eagle Mines.
Tony holds an Engineering Technology degree along with completion of multiple business law and negotiation courses. He is a Project Controls and Contracts Specialist with over 30 years of experience in Oil/Gas and Mining sectors whilst working for EPCMs, Owners and Contractors. Tony brings a passion for collaborating with others to reach mutually beneficial agreements whilst developing strong relationships through collaboration and communication.
Kevin holds a Business Administration degree and certifications as a Heavy Duty Mechanic and in Mining and Material Processing. He has over 25 years of mining experience at KGHM International, Quadra FNX, and Dynatec Corporation. Kevin brings a strong safety work ethic with commercial expertise and hands-on, heavy-duty equipment experience.
