Overview

The Kaska Alliance first started at the Wolverine Underground Mine Development Project in the Yukon Territory in 2005, mobilizing to site on the winter road, establishing the decline portal, and excavating 1,200 metres of ramp, ore drift, and exploration drift for bulk sampling. It continued with main ramp development and lateral ore development for pre-production in preparation for mine start-up. Post-pre-production saw the continuation of production mining at a rate of 1,750 tonnes per day.
